( The title is just because I'm listening the whole evening to Maroon 5 - She will be loved )


So Hawaii was already a week ago, it was amazing but I'm not going to upload any more pictures or write about it because it's just too much. I'll tell you about my weekend instead. Friday was much fun, we went to a houseboat party on Shasta Lake and in the morning we went to Denny's to eat breakfast because you get unlimited pancakes for only 4$. Then Amanda and me went home to my house, took a shower and got ready in like 30 minutes and drove to Sacramento. We went to the downtown, there was much going on because of a Jazz Festival and later when it started raining we went shopping at the mall :). On Sunday my friend Zeb took me and a few others out on his boat to go wakeboarding / wakesurfing, which I almost overslept cause I was so tired from the entire week with only like 4-5 hours sleep each night plus Friday not sleeping at all :D so lucky me, I woke up 20 minutes before they were picking me up. It was a really nice day, in the evening after we came back from the lake we went to in-n-out burger and wanted to go see the Hangover 2, but all shows were booked out so we just went to Spoon Me (great frozen yogurt, crepes, smoothies - place) and just drove around somewhere, which was kinda scary cause we saw a big black bear by the side of the road :D no kidding , that happens here. Well then yesterday we went to Sophies Goodbye Party, and after that Paula, Zeb and me went to Spoon Me again with our fancy dresses and stuff ;D. Today was my last normal schoolday.. after school we ate at Olive Garden and went to Marks Goodbye Party.. so sad I seriously can't face the fact that it's the end now. So if you're wondering why I am writing all these details down, I realized that this blog is the only diary thing I have to read later about my times here.

another day in paradise

One of my favourite beaches on Maui is Makena Beach, also known as Big Beach. Its large, white, undeveloped, and not crowded at all. It has also great waves for surfing / boogie boarding or whatever.

Everyone told us that we have to go to a Luau show.. well we did, to the Drums of the Pacific show at the Hyatt, which is supposed to be the best one out of whole Hawaii. In addition to that, we got VIP tickets so we didn't have to stand in line with all the other people (like 500 people, 1 hour waitingtime), we had seats in the first row aand we got to go to the buffet at first! That was pretty sweet, the food was amaaazing.

Hawaii ist einfach wunderschön. Wir sind auf Maui, welche seit 16 Jahren zur schönsten Insel der Welt gewählt wurde. Es ist wie ein riesiger Blütengarten.. es wachsen die tollsten Pflanzen hier und alles riecht blumig irgendwie. Außerdem sieht man jeden Abend einen tollen Sonnenuntergang.. es gibt echt nichts schöneres als beim Sonnenuntergang am Strand spazieren zu gehen :). Direkt von unserem Hotel aus kann man zum schönen langen Kaanapali Beach gehen, was ich auch jeden Tag ausgenutzt habe. Uund hier gibt es Ananas-, Kokusnussbäume (+viele mehr) und die ganzen Früchte schmecken so süß und lecker. Hier mal ein paar Fotos von den ersten Tagen..

Es war wieder einmal soo wunderschön, ich liebe diese Stadt einfach :) Erstmal haben wir uns die Golden Gate Bridge von allen Seiten angeschaut und sind drüber gefahren + natürlich viele Fotos geschossen.. 







Die beiden Fotos hier sind vom zweiten Tag, wo wir extra noch einmal ein paar Fotos gemacht haben weil das Licht+Wetter soviel besser war (:

Dann gings weiter mit Lombard Street (die kurvigste Straße der Welt) , Union Square und bisschen Shopping, kurzen Einblick in Chinatown, und Pier39. Dort haben wir am nächsten Tag uns das Wachsfiguren Museum angeschaut und waren schön essen in einem Restaurant Rainforest Cafe, das war total cool richtig wie ein Dschungel mit Wasserfällen und so. Hier mal alles in Bildern ;D

Das war so ziemlich mein Wochenende :) Gestern Abend kam ich spät abends wieder, war heute übermüdet in der Schule, vorhin mit einem Freund unterwegs Kaffee bei Yaks trinken (ich hab noch nie erwähnt wie ich diesen Laden liebe, mach ich nächstes Mal Fotos drin), an so einer schönen Klippe hier wo man die halbe Stadt sieht, und als wir über Sundial Bridge gegangen sind hat es leider fürchterlich angefangen zu regnen, aber war trotzdem cool. Jetzt muss ich gleich erstmal meinen Koffer packen weil es ja morgen nach Hawaii geht *IN LOVE*
Vorher muss ich aber noch versuchen dieses Lupo Programm hier drauf zu kriegen und meine LK's auswählen, hab heut erfahren dass ich die bis heute Abend gewählt haben muss und ich bin hier voll überfordert. Englisch, und dann entweder Pädagogik oder Deutsch, ich kann mich einfach nicht entscheiden.
